Consider the Party of Lincoln,  

It certainly seems to be shrinkin'!  

It soon may be gone, 

In a long drawn-out yawn; 

But for now let's just say that it's emitting an unpleasant odor. 

 

GEORGES SEURAT COULD HAVE PAINTED THIS VIEW!

The French artist Georges Seurat (1859-1891) created images using small dots. Here is one of his famous "pointillist" works: "Study for the Channel at Gravelines, Evening, 1890."

He could have painted this view of Lake Michigan from my window on this freezing February morning!
